Performance items for the SAAB 9-5
Reprogrammed Engine Management
Reprogrammed ignition and fuel injection computers create another 40 horsepower. This unit was designed to give explosive power and acceleration in all gears. Gas mileage will be about the same as a stock 9-5 depending on how much more time you spend with your foot on the floor. This is our most recommended upgrade and is the basis for most of our other engine upgrades. If you are serious about performance this is a MUST! Available for both manual and automatic transmissions. The unit is easily installed with common hand tools in about an hour. This unit is also sold as an exchange unit.

Exhaust
We have several options for you when you are looking to upgrade your exhaust. If you are looking for serious power, you will want to replace all of your stock exhaust components with our high-performance units. A great place to start is our muffler. Mufflers: Single Oval and Twin Outlet
Our new downpipe will help your turbo spool much faster than the stock downpipe. The downpipe is the first pipe in your exhaust system and comes strait off of the turbo. Please call for pricing.
Our new performance Cat will help to reduce backpressures, and decrease your turbo spooling times for even greater power. Note that these are not for road use and may not be legal in your state. Please call for pricing.
To even further enhance the performance of your SAAB 9-5, try our new midpipe. This larger diameter midpipe will aid the escape of your exhaust gases, helping your SAAB breathe easier. Please call for pricing.
Our special heads have been carefully blueprinted and gas flowed to improve performance and response in the higher RPM range; right where it is needed most. The stock heads start to cut the power short at 4200 rpm while our heads pull hard way past redline. If you need serious power our head will help with at least a 10 HP increase depending on what other modifications have been made to your car. *Exchange Basis

Improves air flow allowing for a 2 HP increase. 10 year/ 1 million mile warranty. These filters are available in an open type Filtercharger as well as a replacement drop-in filter. Nitrous Injection Kit

Lightweight Flywheel
Fidanza Engineering has work closely with SAAB Performance to design the ultimate flywheel. Our new flywheels provide superior weight reduction and the best friction materials available. A lower flywheel inertia allows for better acceleration in all gears. This unit is great with our performance dual friction clutch.

Lowering Spring Kit
By lowering the center of gravity of the 9-5 by 1" we can reduce body roll to increase predictability during hard cornering. Now you can realize the full potential of the chassis. Spring rates are increase by 20% to avoid any bad encounters with the road over harsh terrain. Aerodynamics are improved and high-speed stability is also increased due to less air being forced under the car.

Limited Slip Differential
