WHY CROSS DRILLED ROTORS?
Cross drilled rotors allow for 40% better cooling and 20% better stopping distances. The additional cooling of the rotor is accomplished via the holes in the rotor which allows additional air to pass through them. This reduces the chance of rotor warpage and/or brake fade. Brake fade is caused by the very high temperatures of the rotors and pads from hard or constant use. Semi-Metallic pads if exposed to high enough heat will eventually "Glaze" causing the friction surface of the pad to become smooth and unable to provide the necessary braking power. Another benefit of using the Carbon Fiber Pads is that brake dust is vitually eliminated. The combination of the Carbon Fiber Pads and the Brembo rotors will give you the best braking performance money can buy at a reasonable price.
